MAJESTIC AND STRONG

You stand so tall

So strong

So majestic

But there is a look in your eyes

Sadness

Not a note of happiness

There in the near distance

A passed loved one

Looking

Just as glum

Blue in his face

The night so gloomy

Flickering stars

An a eerie, eerie

Willowing

Quivering, shivering

Mystical

Feeling

The moon and the stars

Glistening

You stand listening

For their familiar voices

Their singing

Their laughing

Their howling

Calling voices

But there is nothing

Except for the hollow sound

One day you will be there

With your own kith and kin

But this day is not over

There is a new day ahead

With the ones that now live

Your pack

You’re the leader

Keeping them safe from harm

From this day on
