POWER

It resides with in your hands

Powerful, strong

Electrifying

Magnifying

Let your power reach out to those that are not so strong

So that they may hold on

To your strength

And courage

No bars withheld

For the love and friendship

Never ceases and never ends

Let your power

Be a shining light

In a world that is in

Tatters and torn

Forlorn

And so worn

Let your power be for truth

Let your power be for justice

Let your power be for your own faith

Let your power be for your own belief

Let your power be for what you believe

Not what you perceive

But what you see, sense, feel and understand

Let your power

Hold each hand

Around this world

Making peace, love,

And happiness

That this world needs so much

All it takes is one tender touch

The power is within

The put down the sit down!

The fire extinguished

All of your life finished

Or so you thought!

The put down is now erased

Defaced

Time to sit upon your own throne

The queen of your life

Reigning supremely, graciously, divinely

Rising from the ashes

Rising with the flames

So like a Phoenix rising from the flames

Renewing, regenerating a new life

Strength, power, might all right!

Queen, empress

HEARTFELT

HEARTFELT

My feelings have always been genuine

Earnest

Warm

Honest and true

Profound at times

Very deep

Thoughtful

Reflective

Intense

Wholeheartedly

Sincere

Always truthful

Honest

Open

Authentic

And at times serious

Straightforward

And very clear

I maybe unorthodox

Unconventional

And untraditional

But this person inside is who I am

I don’t judge

It is not now way

There are others who do that

In their own way

So with these heartfelt words

And with my companion behind

Whom I trust with my life

And guides me the right way

His instincts so strong

Intuitions

Insights

Perceptions

He judges me not

His heart wide open with love

Ears open to listen always

And a comforting paw at the ready

When the going gets tough

And rough

Who else is there to trust?

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE

Looking out to the horizons threshold

Holding what is so dear, and clear

The rainbows may not be showy

The clouds yet to be clear

The waves a pounding

Pounding like this heart

But right now it is a broken and battered one

My very existence with faith is now being questioned

But I do not want to question it

Because it fits

It is not a fits and starts

It’ll never leave my heart

It is deep rooted

Deep seated

But today I’m questioning

Where I need to go from here

Time to reflect

Yet not reject

My true meaning and path

My true purpose

My real reason and reasons

Without trying to reason

It is not the time or place

The time and place will be within

This jagged, ragged rock

Will be my stabilizing rock

Through troubled times

Through happy times

Through my entire life’s times
