TIME

Time comes and goes

Time flies by

Time can drag its feet

When all we want or need is for it to fly by

Sitting constantly watch

Waiting

For the hands of time to move on

Faster

Quicker

Nearer to the time we want

Just like love

It takes time to know it

Recognize it

Feel it

Realize it

Understand it

Appreciate it

And be aware of it

The affection

The adoration

Tenderness

Devotion

Fire and the passion

Love comes in time

When it is ready

It is there waiting

To be held

Hugged

Embraced

Its sweet, sweet scent

Enticing

Alluring

Inviting

Appeal

Luring

Seducing

Persuading you to take that step in

TIME

Is the essence

I’M MAD ABOUT LOVE

Mad about you

Mad about you and me!

I want you so bad

Bad, bad

Wrapping myself around you

You wrapping yourself around me

I’m so out of my mind about you

I don’t want to make a fool of myself

But I’m madly in love with you

Mad, mad

Bad, badly in love with you

Angel baby love me more, more

Angel baby give me more and more

More and more

Bad, bad

Badly I need your touch

But you seem so out of whack and touch

All this stuff and nonsense is driving crazy

Yet you remain hazy

Hazy, hazy

Crazy, crazy

All my promises that I’ll keep

All the promises you made I have kept

And my heart skipped and leapt

I will give you the good times

When nothing else rhymes

Just don’t leave me here going out of my mind

You’re driving me crazy, nuts totally insane

Call my name and I’ll come running

Just your secret lover

So real, surreal

Once we were friends

Then become lovers in middle of the night

Yet we loathe being apart

Let this fiasco depart

And un-break this heart

ALL IS CALM

ALL IS CALM

As I sit here quietly calmly

The sun all aglow

There is peacefulness, stillness

That I am thinking about

That resided here long ago

It was filled with love and hope

A love that I so dreamily hoped for

But that was long ago

Today is filled with hope once more

A chance to wish

A chance to live

A chance to be happy

To dream the dreams

Where it will seem so real

Real, real, real!

Is it right to feel?

Is it right to want that feeling?

When all I really wish and hope for

Is someone to love me!

With all their heart and soul

As this heart is ready to love you

Adore you

Cherish you

Be your best friend

Oh these wonderful feelings

That is so wished and hoped for

THIS SHELL OF OURS

This shell

This outer covering

Casing our inner soul

Shielding

From the outside world

Guard

Defense

Security

Only come out when the

All is clear

But why hide within this shell

There is much beauty

That we withhold

Refuse to show

Deny

And suppress

We keep our feelings

Locked in chains

And bars

Never leading us very far

Squashed

Quelled

Subdued

Never happy

Feeling the blues

We are born to be free

Wild and free

With no oppressions

Except our own

Limitations

That binds us from freedom within

Taking a leap of faith

Hope

And trust

With love

All is possible

Not impossible

Leads us to excel

Shine

Outstrip

The old, old shell

That has kept us glued

To our spot

This place

This mark in time

Shining our inner beauty

For they that may see

Our love

Our peace

Our trust

Our caring

Our sharing

Abounding

But it’s just how I feel for you

You’re always on my mind

And here you are so kind, kind

I’m so, so lucky

Oh the angels knew

That it was you

And here I look!

And feel as if I am heaven

Oh boy I wasn’t meant to fall for you

My soul singing

My heart ringing 

Oh what a great feeling

You’ve touched this woman

Like no other man has done

Oh boy I want to sing and dance

Oh boy I want to spend my life with you!

Oh boy you make me feel so fortunate

Blessed, blessed

And you are here

And I am here

Oh boy I wasn’t meant to fall for you!

My heart is rocking and rolling

My head ringing and singing 

Oh boy now you are my destiny

Oh my love, love 

From the heavens above

I never want this feeling to end!
