LIGHT
THE WORD OF LIFE
Before all things were created
Our World had already existed
From the very beginning the Word was God
Through Him all things were made
In God was Life
And in that life was the Light
For men, women and children
Yet the darkness was and is still not understanding
the source of the Light
The Light of Our God

The stars showing the light

When you feel as if your world looks, feels as if it
is in darkness
Turn to your Lord our Father
Pray with him
Speak with him
Our Lord, Our God, Our Father
Hears us, listens to us
We are His children

When Jesus spoke to people he said
“I am the Light of the World
Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness
But will have the light of life

What has evoked such darkness into your world?
Those steel bars and chains locked around your heart
That tears you apart
Those beaten, battered, bruised steps
That you take each and everyday
That carries you further away

Do we know that we are God’s Temple?
And that His spirit lives within us
He is our Salvation
Our Sanctuary
Our Peace
Our Holy place
Let us not let anyone destroy God’s Temple
Let no man destroy our Salvation
His light

There is Sanctuary in God’s Light
