BEAUTY (thought provoking poem)

BEAUTY
How does a person know what beauty is
Is it the way we dress
Our make up
Our hair
Or just the way we see each other
Beauty comes in many disguises
Wearing masks
Costumes
Veils
Camouflages
But our wolves
Never come in costumes
Veils
Disguises
They are for real
Actual
Physically
Factual
Tangible
Existent
There is nothing unreal
They are so surreal
Without being
Strange
Weird
Odd
Or dreamlike
They are fantastic
Nothing bizarre
Or ordinary about them
Just take one long good look
What are you seeing?
What do you see?
A mysterious being
Unfathomable being
Enigmatic being
Or just a wondrous Wolf
In his own coat
No fake
No false identity
Just purely and simply
A beauty out in the open
How can we compare his beauty with all that surrounds us?
There is no comparison
He is the light that shines forth
Onwards
Forwards
And beyond
This realm of Mother Earth

ALL OVER THE PLACE

ALL OVER THE PLACE
Shoving and pushing
Jostling for space
The left
The right
The up
And down
This way
That way
Which way to go
Like being blindfolded
Not seeing where to go
Which way to go
No direction
No course
No route
No focus in life
Stumbling
Tripping
Wandering
Like a nomad in the deserts sands
Drifting
Rootless
Meandering along
Twisting this way and that way
No plan of action
No course been plotted
Walking around on a roundabout
Which exit?
Which door?
To walk through
Stagnant
Sluggish
Stuck in the mud
Crazy, crazy
Situation
Position to be in
This attitude must change
Change the view
This point of view
The standpoint
This mindset
The blindfolds
The blinkers
The binders
That is holding me back
Get out of this fast lane
And try again

WALKING IN HEAVENLY PEACE (Thoughtful Poem) New Poem

WALKING IN HEAVENLY PEACE

Walking in heavenly peace
Where there is no more
Fighting, jibing or violating
A child should be able to walk and talk
With confidence, and head held up high
Not walk with a head bowed down
Holding a frown
Scared of walking into the playground
A fear of being downed
Walking in heavenly peace
Walk in heavenly peace
Not being victimized, vilified
Oh such a bliss when it happens
This walking in heavenly peace
To walk with confidence and happiness
In the greater outer world
And their inner world
Walk, talk with glee
Walk, talk
Walk with their heads held high
As if floating on angel wings
Walking in heavenly peace
That no child should live in fear
And be able to shed their tears
Let each and every child know that they are loved
A hug, a cuddle, an embrace
The greatest of joy on their loving face
Walking in heavenly peace
That no child be abused
Physically or mentally
That each and every parent be known
That each and every child is heaven sent
That they are a blessing and not in disguise
Walking in heavenly peace
That no child should go hungry
That no child should live in fear
Of terrorism, bombs and guns
Let our children live, live
And walk in heavenly peace
