A POWER WITH FIRE

A POWER WITH FIRE
That burns through its veins
Emitting his strength and power
Over all things that be
Be on your guard
He is on his
Ready and waiting
Not just to stalk
Or walk
But run so fast
You won’t last
His pace
Fast and furious
Ready for the kill
And the thrill

Beware of the fire
In his veins
He may not always show it
But he is at the ready
And won’t you know it

EVEN IN THE DARKEST OF DARKEST

EVEN IN THE DARKEST OF DARKEST
There in the darkest of spaces
Places
Those nooks and crannies
A bright light will remain
Endure no matter what
A light that persists
Through the ages
Never diminishes
Weakens
A light that goes with the tides
Ebbs and flows
Of the oceans
Wide and deep
Day into night
Night into day
There is a constant flow
Of light
Shining
Guiding you through the darkness
Shadows may fall
But that bright light shines
Even on the darkest of shadows
Showing
Revealing
A beauty
That is not there in the day light
Day break
The hues
Blues
In the midnight hour
Shaft of light
From the gigantic trees above
Here we both are
Soaring through
Fact or fantasy
Through this eerie, eerie place
No fear
No terror
Here

HYPNOTISING MELODY

Hypnotising Melody
The maiden plays her tune
Flowers and butterfly’s sing with glee
A land so full and happy
A land of make believe
Stories of fairies
Unicorns, horses riding by
Waves of joy
Butterflys pulling a boat of children
Balloons a swaying in the breeze
A fair maiden riding by and so high
All jingling along to the flutest song
The land so full of harmony
The planets joining in the merry dance
The colours glorious
The day is wondrous
A myriad of colours playing with your mind
Festooned
Garlanded
Decorated
Swathed in light
Glorious light
The flute will entice you
Excite you
Be you
You will want to follow the flutes tune
Into your dreams of dreams
Where everything seems
So unreal, surreal

DREAMING THE VISION

DREAMING THE VISION
On each and every line of this book
There is a story to be told
A story that unfolds
A story of tales gone by
Sailors sailing by
The mermaid in the sea
Merriment for all to see
Fair maidens waiting gleefully
There by the seashore
Watching, waiting for their love come ashore
Mothers wrapped in their shawls
From the cold, cold winds that howl
They have stayed behind, with their loved ones
Hoping and praying for their safe return
Candles are lit so brightly
To light their way home
Oh how they shine and sparkle
On this clear, clear night
Oh the dream and vision
Of all that is in this book of mine
What is yours telling you?
Can you see the story unfold?
Can you tell the story without the words?
Can you draw the picture that is there in your head?
Or just dream about it whilst you are in bed?
