I Feel The Words

I FEEL THE WORDS

I HEAR THE WORDS WHISPERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS

We have yet to meet

We have never met

But yet I know you

Your spirit flies as high as the sky

Flying like a bird on the wing

Soaring higher and higher

You love me so much

Without a touch

I sense the love around me

Happy and free

Warming and glowing

The space that is between us

The mountains and trees

Soon maybe we can meet

This day will come sooner, much sooner

The love I feel inside

I hope that you feel it too

This time and space

Can never erase such feelings

It has been too long

Much, much too long

I want to hold you, feel you

This burning, burning fire I so desire

This passion

This hunger, this craving

This aching, aching

Oh the longing, longing

And yes the yearning, yearning

Wishing, wishing

To be with you right now!

The mountains can be moved

There is nothing stopping us

Yet there is

We need to meet to sort it out

Once and for all

Of who needs who?

Who wants to be with whom?

I want to be with you!

CONSIDERING

CONSIDERING

This is a time of considering

Pondering

The best or the worst

My mind is not confused

Disordered

Muddled

Disorganized

Just a pondering

What to do for the best

I inherited some traits

You know that character thing

And the personality thing to

And a lot of qualities thrown in for good measure

Now here is the point

I’m staring at them all

The good

The bad

And the ugly ones

Oh and the best ones too

Our character is what makes us who we are

Our charms

Our appeals

Charisma

And our atmospheres

Airs

Graces

Manners

Auras

Our qualities

And the impressions we make on our loved ones

Oh this one can be a pain to define

Personality

Well we are all so different

There is the our nature

Behavior

Disposition

Temperament

Ummmmm!!!!!

Our persona

Our own individuality

Uniqueness

Eccentricities

This one I like being very unconventional

Weirdness

Bizarreness

And oddity at times

Oh yes I can me be that at times

Is this striking a note with anyone yet?

Quirky

Weird sense of humour

Curious

Questioning

But not a snooper

That is so not in my character

That one went with the wind

But heck another word for curious

Nosey

Probing

And all of the rest

Oh heck I am giving this a rest

Just be yourself

And live with what you have

Cos most of it is real dam good

Ps selfish I am not either

Just me

Little ole me

MAGIC CARPET RIDE

Where the wind beneath the carpet is riding you high

Way up high with the birds and butterflies

The swallows and swifts

Swooping, diving to catch a small prey on the wing

There in the distance Swans on the wing too

Maybe off to warmer climates or just enjoying the view

The sky shining brightly hardly a cloud in sight

The sunrays gently, softly letting themselves be known

Oh such wondrous colours and a delight

Pinkish salmon, with a hint of yellow

But here you sit on your magic carpet

Smiling, smiling

I have compiled this book in the hope that every little girl would enjoy reading and re-reading each and every poem that is within. There is a short story entitled ‘In A Land Far Away’ which is based on a tale of a young lady walking through a mirror to find that she is in a different time and place and how and who she meets there. DANDELION WISHES

With all your hearts desires

The wishes for hopes that lay deep inside

The longings, yearnings and cravings too

For our wishes to come true

The feathery, light airborne dandelion

Lifts to the sky so high

Just like angels’ wings to the heavenly sky

Taking our wishes to the clouds floating by

Across the trees, the bushes and fields

Across the oceans, rivers and streams

Carrying all our wishes and dreams

The birds in the sky way up high

Twittering and tweeting

As our hopes and wishes go flying by

They will never be in vain

Keep them all for they will remain
