WE LOOK AT EACH OTHER

WE LOOK AT EACH OTHER
Friends and lovers
We know what is in our hearts
Happiness, love
We call it our blissfulness
We will show the world that you and I belong
We know we belong
A never departure
A lifetime of true love, passion
It can rain but we never care
We laugh and giggle
We wriggle
Wriggle up to each other
We embrace
We trace
Trace the outlines of our bodies
Gently, tenderly
Stroking
We promised to love each other to the end
You are you are
I cannot take my eyes off you
You have me mesmerized
Hypnotized
You want to keep me up all night
Oh my lover never ever stop
Paradise, paradise
This is where I want to stay
Never to go away
Girl I need you!
Girl I want you!
Girl I love you!
Never ever stop loving me
For all eternity
Our bands show our bond
A lovers tryst for ever
A friend is what I have found in you
Oh girl I am never letting you go
Because my heart says so
My heart tells me so
My heart tells me this is never the end
My heart tells me that the moon and stars
Shine in your eyes
Glistening and oh how I listen
I’ll go wherever you go
You are the best part of me!
You are the best for me!
You are my sun and moon
You are my love
If you are okay then I am okay
Everyday
Every night
And I’ll defend you with all my might
Nothing or no one will harm you
I’ll be your hero
Never a zero

WE BOTH GOT CARRIED AWAY

WE BOTH GOT CARRIED AWAY
We both were blown away
A steamy love affair
With no care
We were wrapped in each other
Never seeming to bother
We broke the rules
Yet here I stand looking back
Back with no regrets
Somehow I knew
It wouldn’t come true
It just seems like a facade
With nothing real
We used one another
Or did we?
Not on my behalf it wasn’t
I loved you
I adored you
But you had your commitments
Your loyalties laid elsewhere
Your family
Your wife
Your children
You could not give it all up
Yet we had a child
Yes the one and only child
You only ever saw her once in a photo
Wrapped and swathed in a shawl
I had to let you go
So my child could grow
So I could grow
Grow away from you
But never forgetting you
My lessons learnt
And I’ll teach my child too
The perils
Of having an affair with a married man
It does not bode well
It surely has not in my case
But my child shall be well
In all that she does in life
She’ll carry a heart so pure
Pure enough to know right from wrong
She’ll grow up strong
She carries your genes
And I so, so know where she will lean!
Her path of destiny
Cannot be changed
Who knows my love!
Maybe just maybe
She’ll love and be loved
In that circle
And find her true love
Oh heavens above hear me please?
Guide her, protect her
Through the storms and seas

This is a book filled with comfort and love. The poems speak softly to your heart and soul. A pathway to find the angel within ourselves. A way to find peace after losing a loved one. My favorites are Live It, Breathe It and Spreading My Wings. I can feel the flutter of angel wings. Beautiful!
