PITTER PATTER

PITTER PATTER
What does it matter?
It can gush, it can rush
It can pelter like a helter skelter
Churning
Round and round
Lashing, smashing, pounding
Love the pouring rain
The sound so soothing
Comforting
Washing the day away
All the worries and the stresses
Love standing in the rain
Makes you want to sing
Dance, prance
Flounce
Love the sound of the rain
The beat
The rhythm
Like the beating drum
Pounding its own beat
The rise and fall
High beat, low beat
Falling, falling
Rising, rising
Louder and louder
Love the rain
Bringing us back to the beats of life
Softly, gently
Centrally
Lovingly
Heart warmingly
Pitter patter
Let it splatter
Let it be no matter
Let it scatter
Like the new seeds in the wind

I'M READING AND WRITING ------ New Poem

I’M READING AND WRITING
Oh how exciting!
Even my dragon friend has given up on the fire and flames
We’re both just relaxing
Even that can be taxing
Has anyone else had this feeling?
We look for something to do
We’re looking at you sometimes
Wondering if we should bother you
Oh you know scare you
Frighten the pants off you
But we cannot be bothered
It’s too hot to do
This summer heat, this missing heartbeat
Our slurry tongues
Shut so tight and oh what a sight
Even we are at a fright
Cos we cannot do a thing
So here I sit and trying to write
Oh and read
The pages story so gloomy
That I can no longer bear
There is a romance and someone is not being fair
Someone is feeling rejected and boy does he care
Now that sounds and looks like someone!
Gruber laying here beneath me
Forlorn and saddened
Oh dear me!
But let’s get back to the story
As you can see I’m a fairy
Airy fairy
Light and airy
Flitting here and there
And yes I can scare you!
You just don’t know when I will and can
It’s part of my nature
Natural and a natural instinct
So watch out!
I can hear you shout!
But we mean no harm really
We just like to say hello
Our very own hello
Pesky little airy fairy
So Gruber and I
Will sit and lay awhile
On this very day
Watching and waiting
Anticipating
Your very move
Then we get in our groove
Flipping and flapping
Way up there so high in the sky
No roaring flames
From Gruber
Just a very silent
Willowy whisper
In one of your ears
Letting you know we are near
Very, very near
So walk silently, quietly
Then maybe, just maybe you’ll know we are here
So we’ll sit a while
Let the time pass for awhile
And just enjoy these moments
Watching you all in your everyday mode

OUR WORLD

Our world
We are all sitting somewhere on a
A chair in our own homes
A bench in the garden the park
Or avenue
A stool in a bar
Or at our desks
Standing on a
Pavement
A sidewalk
The grasses
The sand at the beaches
In our own homes
The gardens
The parks
Watching and observing
Everyone that is there
Taking in the magic?
Or just a stare
What if we care?
Instead of just letting it passes over
Strolling along on this world of ours
Heaving
Shoving
Pushing
Shouldering
Over-crowding
Jostling for spaces
The vast open spaces
Now going and gone
Construction
Erection
Creation!!!
Production
It is everywhere
Destruction
Our lands near and far
Demands
Pressures
Stresses and strains
What are we gaining?
Winning
Or is the losing?
With nothing to gain
Do we fight back?
Or let it go?
This is our world
Do we want or need it so

LIGHTEST OF LIGHTS, BRIGHTEST OF LIGHTS

LIGHTEST OF LIGHTS
BRIGHTEST OF LIGHTS

So fragile
So delicate
So gentle
Can it be meek and mild?
Wild with its light
Shining
A shimmering gold light
Elusive never
Even in the darkest corners
Even in the darkest corners of your mind
There is always a light
A light of hope
A light of love
Shining
Gently
Softly
Tantalizing
Every sense
Tempting
Enticing
So appealing
It brightness
Luring
Attracting
All that is beautiful
The moth
The butterfly
The glittering
Shimmering
Fireflies
Illuminating
The evening skies
Wondrous
Miracles
I am so hypnotized
Fascinated
Mesmerized
With this lightness of feelings
The warming
Glow
Resonating this heart and soul
Deep within
No muffling
No muting
No hushing
No silencing
This wondrous
Beauty
Before us all
