#ASMSG NEVER ENDING CIRCLE OF LIFE

NEVER ENDING CIRCLE OF LIFE
Love
Care
Commitment
Which binds each and
Every one of us in this
Never ending circle of life
The good
The bad
The ugly
Times
These are all moments that we share together
As one
Building the bridges that once were lost
Smashed to pieces
In hate
 Bitterness
Deep regrets
Efforts from the heart
So futile
Useless
Pointless
When trying to help those in need
The heart felt joy and bliss
When we play a role
In each and everyone’s recovery
Broken hearts
The sick and the suffering
The rich and the poor
Let the door be forever more
Open
Not just ajar
Wide open
Like the spaces in our hearts
A
Love unconditional
Just how it is meant to be
The ever never ending
Circle of life
That has us twisting
And turning
Along this road called life
Love

#ASMSG THE LONGEST WINTER SEASON

The Longest Winter Season
Taken from the anthology ‘Heartfelt Baring All’
© Teresa Joseph Franklin

It has dragged its heals
The long drawn out meals
The dark, dark nights
Just a glimmer of lights
So many faces
Distant but near
Crying in anguish
I feel it too it was distant keeping its distance
The suffering, the pain, the agony I felt was in vain
Or was it in vain?
The dreams the visions
All now what seemed a dream?
Were real, cascading through this mind
The fir trees shedding their cones
The mistletoe the rose
Oh now I so want, need to curl in a ball
To be comforted, soothed from this troubled tormented sorrow
Shroud myself in an invisible veil
Away from this world, would this be to no avail?
But it helps to be shrouded with this veil
Brings a comfort, security, peace and wisdom too
Maybe not for you!
I am not a prisoner to it
I see clearly, clarity,
Lucidity, simplicity,
Transparency,
I need this veil adorned never embellished
My thoughts and feelings privately cherished
No intrusions, private, no secret
The world can wait
On this

#ASMSG ABOVE AND BEYOND

ABOVE AND BEYOND
These great mountains and the skies
There is a spirit that passes us by
Maybe once in a while
His greatness and his grace
His presence we embrace
Above and beyond
The Great Spirit that is wolf
Once was
And told of

Above and beyond
Stories once told
Victories
Battles of old
But above and beyond
This character will behold
His presence is now held
With the old and the new
Who knew this great
Spirit way above
And beyond

Above and beyond
His spirit will shine on
Just like the morning sun
Never ending
Never ceasing
Always begun

Above and beyond
The pack he belonged
Lives on
Way beyond
The rugged terrains
The snowcapped mountains
His spirit will remain
And reign
Way above and beyond

#ASMSG A POWER WITH FIRE

A POWER WITH FIRE

That burns through its veins
Emitting his strength and power
Over all things that be
Be on your guard
He is on his
Ready and waiting
Not just to stalk
Or walk
But run so fast
You won’t last
His pace
Fast and furious
Ready for the kill
And the thrill

Beware of the fire
In his veins
He may not always show it
But he is at the ready
And won’t you know it

#ASMSG A MOTHER LOVE

A Mothers Bond
So strong
And powerful
That no one can break
Or take
This bond
Steal it
Fight for it
She shall
With all her
Might
And strength

A mothers bond
She will guard
Protect
Teach
Right from wrong
Days gone by
Traditions
Of the family

A mothers bond
Can do no wrong
She will fight
With her honor
And all of
Her might
To protect her
Child
From those that
Do harm
A mothers bond
Is formed of love
Untold
Timeless
Ageless
Unconditional

#ASMSG THE SHIFT IN THE BALANCE

THE SHIFT IN THE BALANCE
A balance that once was free
Like the landscape before me
It may look unbalanced
Its mountains
The grassy hilltops
But this is nature
The wonders
The world that we see
Its beauty
The marvels, the wonders of it all
But there in the distance we befall
The sickening sites
The sickening sounds
The fallen
That has tumbled
Collapsed in agony
Torture
The hunting, the slaughter
The blooded landscape
Before these eyes
The weeping, the crying
The howling
Of long lost
Brothers and sisters
The packs declining
Do we resign?
This landscape so unbalanced
Here before me
I lay awhile
I ponder the future
Our fates
Our destinies
All is uncertain
But I lay here
Hoping
Ever hopeful eager and yearning
Longing for better days
Trusting, expecting, imagining
This unbalanced landscape
Will return to the way it once was
A land to roam free
A place for everyone
Be it man or another beast
Is that too much to ask?

#ASMSG THIS WIDE, WIDE, OPEN LANDSCAPE

THIS WIDE, WIDE OPEN LANDSCAPE
With its breath taking views
The mountains all around us
Peaks covered in snow
The swirling of the misty clouds
Wonderful hues
Sweeping over the landscape
The valleys below
Lifting with the light breezes
Over and between the peeks
A room with a view my friend
And I mean room
Room to move
Room to roam free
Room to breath
Look at you my friend
Curious?
Or just as amazed as I am
This once was your roaming land
It is still is
Right here up on the craggy rocks
And passes
But they have gone
Hunted
Haunted
Taunted
To your last packs stand
The shame
The disgrace
That has been shown
They have dishonored you all
Degraded
Discredited
Your humble names
Yes you all have names
It is they that should be named
And shamed
Dishonored
Degraded
Humiliated
But you are safe here with me
No one to hurt or take you away
This I promise you
Right here
Right now
In this our quiet solitude
Your land
There will be more
Take heart
There are others watching
And listening
Petitioning
For you all to roam free

#ASMSG WE HAVE BEEN DOWN THIS ROAD BEFORE

WE HAVE WALKED THIS WAY BEFORE
So many times our story has be told
Retold over and over again
What do you reckon that they have gained?
Money in the author’s pocket
The tale of the big bad wolf
And me
Little red riding hood
And my grandmother
What is all that about?
You wouldn’t hurt a fly
Except maybe in your eye
Just look at us
The two of us
Look at your face
Loving, attentive, caring
And always here guarding
Protecting
Wherever I go
Their myths, their legends
Of the big bad wolf
They need to be here
Right now this minute
The reputation they gave you
The one of destruction
The one hounding its prey to the death
Oh heck
What did man do before guns and rifles?
That was for survival
Now you are a trophy
Something to walk on
In their sweet homes
Oh boy!!!
Now they still want to
Taunt you, haunt you
Out of existence
What more can be done?
A lot
A great deal can be done
There are supporters
Supporting your cause
You walked these lands
Before man walked this Earth
The plains, the mountain, the glens
Why can they not see? Truly see
You are just like us humans
The only difference being
You have four legs and I have two
This is your time now
Time to bring on your show
