The Power

The pull

The push

The rush

The spiral

The down surge

The steps down

What makes this so?

Flooding everything in its path

Torrent

Deluge

Surge

And overflow

Have we no control?

Can we take control?

Is there any control?

Who’s in control?

The gathering of the stagnant moss

Creeping and crawling

Noon to dusk

Day by day

Sluggish

Heavy

Thick

Dense

Pounding

Thundering

Like a heavy, heavy drum

Ceaseless

Endless

Down, down

Drowning

With no control

LOVE ME OR LOATHE ME

Love me for who I am

And not what I am

The stories

The myths

The supposedly legends

From old

Just take a long, long look

Does this look like I am in danger?

Peril

Does this wondrous wolf look a threat?

A liability

My life at risk

I surely do not think or believe so

Here we both are

Quietly sitting

In total companionship

Total unconditional

Devotion love trust

And a bond that cannot be broken

A pledge to be each other’s

Guides guardians

Protectors

A pledge and oath

That I have taken

And made

That I and others

Will be on your side

The here and now

The future

The Wolf Warriors

Of your world

SHROUDED

SHROUDED

Cloaked

Covered

Veiled

In an air of mystery

Remaining anonymous

Unidentified

Enigmatic

Secretive in the air of

Grace and elegance

Red for passion

Fiery

Blistering heat

Fierce

Sweltering

Sizzling

Be careful of the blistering

Blazing, intensity

That she exudes

Emanating

From her body

Her soul

Her mind

Keep an eye on those eyes

Piercing

Cutting right through you

Intensifying

Deeper, deeper and deeper

Penetrating right at your core

Powerful

Forceful

No mistaking ever ever!

Or exaggerating

Dare to look?

Or dare to look away?

Either way

She will get to you

QUIET SPACE

QUIET SPACE

This quiet space

Is the place where I can sit

And feel

This quiet space

So private

Yet so welcoming

The wide open space

Vast as the planet in the distant

With the aura so bright

That fills the sky

Stars

Glistening

Twinkling

Casting a magnificent hue

Beautiful

A meteor

Shoots through the sky

Silently

Quietly

As if it knows this is

My quiet space

Beautiful wonder of the universe

This quiet space

So calm

So peaceful

Feeling of being as one

With myself

Happier

Healthier

Brighter

Contented

My mind so free

Of the days breeze

Grounded

Astounded

Amazed

By the beauty

Of my solitary quiet space

This quiet space

The gentle breeze

Airing

Freshening

This face of mine

Bringing a glow

From long time ago

Airing my mind

Swishing and swirling my tresses

With a glow

This quiet space

Can never be erased

Fazed

Defaced

This very, very quiet space

An escape from the

Realities of life

Once in awhile

THIS FEELING

Irresistible feeling

The howling

The braying

Bringing my senses

Alive

Shivering

Tingling

Listening

To both

I so love you

Two

The way that

You look

At me

And make me smile

Oh you heavenly pair

Life would be nothing

Without you here

Just the stillness

The quietness

A sanctuary

Refuge, shelter and haven

Self-preservation

Conservation

From the outside world

Feels so safe and secure

Can feel the protection all round

The warmth that is radiating

In this time and space

A comfort a luxury

Contentment fulfilled

Serenity

Tranquility

Oh and the peacefulness

Not a sound

Anywhere around

Not a whisper on the wind

Or on the land or in the air

This I could do all year round

So quiet

My serendipity 

Just so fortunate

To have found this place

Today has marked a day in history for me as with effect United Press, Admail 3725, London EC1B 1JB has announced that I am one of the TOP TEN POETS of United Kingdom

In my whole writing career that started last February 2012 this is a great achievement and an accolade that any writer of poetry can obtain

On a merry go round

Swings

And roundabouts

Slips

And slides

This way

And that way

Which way to go

The mask that we wear

Showing that we don’t care

Hiding feelings

Sorrows

Pains

Tears

And heartache

With nothing

To gain

Here and there

Dancing the worlds tune

The same old song

Dragging our feet along

Treading the boards

Fear of the wrong move

Tipping our toes

Is this the right move?

Pain and agony

Walking the walk

Elegant

Straight

Does the world know?

How it feels inside

Right now

This second

This minute

This hour

Do you feel like escaping the pipers tune?

 Then the time is Right now!

FLOATING

Floating on this bed of air

Way up in midair

The most amazing feeling

Like I am airborne

No wings

No extensions to this body

Just these arms outstretched

Unfolded

Extended

No engines

Machines

Devices

Instruments to guide me

Gadgets or gizmos

Just this amazingly

Astonishingly

Wonderfully

Incredibly

Beautiful air

Feels so pure

Unadulterated

Uncontaminated

Clean

Untainted

I could just stay here forever

Never come down

Nor touch the ground

Here I would like to stay

Feels like contentment

Serenity

Happiness

Bliss

Pleasure with no pain

An indulgence

A treat

A luxury

Oh what extravagance

Without the overindulgence

Let me be

Let me fly with the wind beneath these wings

FAITHFUL LION

REGAL LION

Fiercely protective of your pride

Territorial, defending in the dark

So far and wide

Across this African land

So grand and stark

Making your mark

Your mane

That is long and encircles your face

Warm and embracing

Enticing

Exciting

Seducing

The senses

Within

This soul of mine

Is it any wonder that the females adore you

And want to be by your side

DANCING

Lost in the beat

The rhythm

Taking me to

A different

Time and place

Swirling

Turning

Hypnotizing

Chasing the blues

Right out of my head

And body

Freeing the spirit

And the soul

To a higher ground

And sound

Round and round

Is where I am at

Right now

No turning the wrong way

Arms and legs moving

With the beat

Feeling the heat

Strong

And powerful

All through this body

 Not letting go

Not now

Not ever

Loving the mode

That the beat is taking

Place right now
