STRIPPED YET ENFOLDED

STRIPPED YET ENFOLDED
Stripped to the core
Where I cannot be stripped anymore
All is revealed, exposed and disclosed
You know my strengths, my weaknesses
You know my heart, my soul, my all
Yet here I am stark naked, so uncovered
With nothing more to be discovered
Except a passion that is unending, unbending
It has me in its grips, within these finger tips
But with this passion it is enduring, enfolding
Revealing all of my senses
The feelings, the touches, that I love so much

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE
Looking out to the horizons threshold
Holding what is so dear, and clear
The rainbows may not be showy
The clouds yet to be clear
The waves a pounding
Pounding like this heart
Never will be part ever again!
We lost each other once, then twice
And possibly thrice
But never ever again!
Our paths had crossed, crossed over bridges
Walked past each other in the street
Oh why did we not meet?
You smiled and I sighed
But we just passed on by
Right down that street!
But now you are here, so near
So dear
The light that has shined on a darkened world
Bring laughter and tears
For many years

LION CUB (Wednesday cutee)

Lion Cub
Joining the club
Soft
And golden
Eyes wide open
Staring at the land
Before him
Places to explore
Trees
And branches
Not ignored
Ears alert
Listening
To every sound
Around
And
About
Before him
Birds singing
And cawing
His brothers
And sisters
Below playing
And messing around
Mum and dad
Just standing back
Watching
And listening too
Just like you

KITTENS THEY GET EVERYWHERE (Sunday Funny and Cutee)

KITTENS THEY GET EVERYWHEERE

You’re in my hair
Up my stairs
This is so unfair

You’re sitting on my favorite
Chair and then you stare
With a look that says
‘I dare you’
But I dare not for
You will win the fight
And give me such a
Fright

Kitten you get everywhere
Falling down those stairs
With that woeful stare
Meowing, crying because
You think no one cares

Kitty you are up the curtains
Watch out when they get
Back in
Oh kitty
What trouble you’re in
And that is a certainty
Kitty what is going to happen?
When you get older
Hopefully much wiser
No more antics
Causing the humans
The attack of the panics

Oh well let’s just wait and see
But I love you really
Just don’t like this
Sitting on my head
My bed
