To spend the night

Holding you till the morning light

Holding each other tight

All night long

All day long   

Let me have the right to love you

Be with you eternally

Just you and me

Side by side

Let me have the right to reside

In the warmth of your tender embrace, embraces

Give me the right to be out of this rain

Where I feel your pain

Please give me hope

A hope that we can be together

Forever

Forever more

Give me the right to give you hope

A hope that you’ll never want to let go of

Let us wander and roam

Let us explore each other’s hearts and soul

I know that you have been hurt

I know that it has been torn apart

Wrenched, strained

She tugged and pulled at your heart strings

Did you not know that I was observing in the wings?

 I saw every action and your reaction

It tore me apart!

It broke my heart

The silent tears, my fears for you

I saw you retreat within yourself

Yet you kept the communication lines open

I heard you sobbing, crying

And kept on hoping

That you’ll let me in

Under your skin

Your very heart and soul

Never hold back

This life is as good as it gets

The peacefulness

The restfulness

The hopefulness

The forgetting the forgiving

From all the past tense

The sea flows

Wherever you go

The sun rises in the East

And settles to the West

Rays of hope where there was once hopelessness

Giving us such courage,

To deter the discouragement

So here I stand hands together in silent prayer

That this new land that I stand upon

Will hold such optimism, promised

Expectations, encouragements

Life will always be as good as it gets

With the promises of today, tomorrow

And all the years

No more sorrows

A vision of beauty

A vision of grace

I FEEL THE WORDS

I HEAR THE WORDS WHISPERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS

We have yet to meet

We have never met

But yet I know you

Your spirit flies as high as the sky

Flying like a bird on the wing

Soaring higher and higher

You love me so much

Without a touch

I sense the love around me

Happy and free

Warming and glowing

The space that is between us

The mountains and trees

Soon maybe we can meet

This day will come sooner, much sooner

The love I feel inside

I hope that you feel it too

This time and space

Can never erase such feelings

It has been too long

Much, much too long

I want to hold you, feel you

This burning, burning fire I so desire

This passion

This hunger, this craving

This aching, aching

Oh the longing, longing

And yes the yearning, yearning

Wishing, wishing

To be with you right now!

The mountains can be moved

There is nothing stopping us

Yet there is

We need to meet to sort it out

Once and for all

Of who needs who?

Who wants to be with whom?

I want to be with you!
