THE LONGEST DAYS

THE LONGEST DAYS
Leads to the longest nights
Whilst sat here wondering, pondering
Foot and leg upon the table
The other across the arm of the chair
A cold cup of coffee sat there
Staring at me to be sipped
And all the time
I rest my head in my hand
Am I able?
Can this relationship be stable?
With its up and downs oh I frown
Or am I just his clown?
Oh this heart is beating down
Call me, call me let this be

ALWAYS BELIEVED

ALWAYS BELIEVED
That being shrouded and clouded
Gave me the space
A special place
To hide
Where all my emotions reside
It gave me the chance
To look at a glance
It also had me in a trance
I found compassion
My heartfelt passions
My loves
Floating on the wings like the doves
Way above
The past will remain
The bleeding pain!
Over and over again
What was it that I gained?
The rough edges
Splintered, tattered
Where nothing mattered
The precarious verges
Falling, falling
Ever further into the depths
Of despair
My soul yelling and screaming
‘What a pair’
‘Did you not care?’
‘What about those boundaries?’
Peripheries!
Bleeding, bleeding!
The outpouring
From every single pore
Where I knew it all
Controlled the calls
With no morals
They’d left me for dead
Dead as a pan
Fried
Twisted and tied
Now the shroud
Is an adornment
And not an abominate

THE GLORY OF YOU

THE GLORY OF YOU!
This eliminating, illumination
Shines so gloriously, resplendently
Dazzlingly, amazingly
You make me feel like a star
A star shining so bright
In the nights sky light
You make me feel so real, surreal
And at times so unreal
Dreamy, dreamlike
With just that one
Long, long glance
You have captured this image
This persona, aura
Like no image has ever been captured before
May, just maybe this is why
You have captured my soul
My love
My heart
You’ve captured my whole

A MOTHERS BOND

A Mothers Bond
So strong
And powerful
That no one can break
Or take
This bond
Steal it
Fight for it
She shall
With all her
Might
And strength

A mothers bond
She will guard
Protect
Teach
Right from wrong
Days gone by
Traditions
Of the family

A mothers bond
Can do no wrong
She will fight
With her honor
And all of
Her might
To protect her
Child
From those that
Do harm
A mothers bond
Is formed of love
Untold
Timeless
Ageless
Unconditional
