YOU CAME OUT OF NOWHERE

YOU CAME OUT OF
NOWHERE
You came out of the blue
You’ve coloured this life with such hue
You’ve shattered, tattered
This heart all apart
Just when it mattered
It was locked, bolted and barred
From a world so marred
But now it is open
Open to your love
Your passions
Love that I never knew
You’ve touched me in places
Oh such places
That has sent me to heaven and back
Your embraces
The rain can pour
With more, more and more
It’s quenching my thirst
For more and more
Touching my senses
Thirst! Thirst!
Longing
Yearning
Desiring
Craving
It’s all here inside of me
Wanting you needing you
Every second of the day

YOU ARE

YOU ARE
You are the whisper on the wind
The love that never ends
You are my bright shining star
YOU ARE
The soft and gentle caress
You are the love and tenderness
I feel your warmth and the fire
It’s only you that I desire
YOU ARE
My strength just like the bear
Protecting through the night and day
Blowing all worries and nightmares away
I can never imagine a day away from you in anyway
You are my love laid bare
YOU ARE
My wolf, one look in your eyes
Speaks nothing of truth and nor lies
Your loyalty holds no bounds
Courageous, strong and loyal
My hero and best friend
YOU ARE
My future in all that I see
Way beyond the lands and the seas
I see a child is that you or me?
Or could that be the child in our dreams
That is meant for you and me?
YOU ARE
My whole
My soul
A legend
That will never end

CHAOS AND CONFUSION

CHAOS AND CONFUSION
All around is chaos
Confusion
Devastation
Destruction
Whirling
Swirling
Like a tornado
Destroying everything in its path
Sheltering
Can be hard
Nowhere safe and sound
Panic
Pandemonium
The oceans
Whipping up a torrent
Waves pounding
Thrashing
Hammering
Flooding
Gushing
Surging
In towards the land
Devastation
Destruction
Can be seen
Is there nowhere safe?
On this Mother Earths land?
Is this her anger?
Her outrage
Our calling
Our wakeup call
I feel stranded
Isolated
Marooned whilst the storm rages on
And on all around
Here we both are soaking
Drenched
Cold and damp
Watching and waiting
For this raging storm
To abate
