CARPET RIDE

CARPET RIDE

I dreamt that I was
Taking a magic carpet ride
Way beyond
My dreams have ever been
Or seen

This magic carpet ride
So mysterious
Delirious
With joy and happiness
And the feeling of
Total bliss

I just wish that you were here
On this magic carpet ride
Here by my side
Sharing the sensations
Of this heavenly bliss
Where no one can find us
In this land of
None existence

But it is all but a dream
Which we all believe
That maybe one day
It will be real
So surreal
Until then I will dream on

BEAUTY SHINES FORTH

BEAUTY SHINES FORTH
Mysterious as it may seem
Strange and out of place
Veiled covering half the face
Crimson red
Fire and passion
Love and desire
A glimpse of beauty
With a trace
Gilded eyes
Outlined
Defined
Refined
Edged in black
What more can be said?
There is a beauty
Beholding our eyes
Mesmerizing
Captivating
Our insides
Wanting to see more
And more
Wanting to know more
And more
Explore
Discover
This beauty in red
Halved veiled in red
The mystery’s that she holds
Just have to know more

TIME

TIME
Time comes and goes
Time flies by
Time can drag its feet
When all we want or need is for it to fly by
Sitting constantly watch
Waiting
For the hands of time to move on
Faster
Quicker

Extract from A NEW BEGINNING

A NEW BEGINNING
Opening the book
To pastures green
Green and lush
With so much to write
And so much to see
And hear
Maybe
The beginning
The place
The time
The here
And now

I just love writing about the wolves of the world, the are in great danger of being wiped out of their existence, these wonderful creatures, yes wonderful have been tormented, tortured for centuries the roamed these lands and places long before man ever stepped foot on the Earth, the need our help to survive right now

A shadowy figure that walks in the darkness
Your world filled with starkness
Not a light in sight
Heaven knows why when there is a world so bright
You roam the plains madly insane
You creep and crawl on the forest floor
Nothing and no one can save you not even yourself
You blame the world this cruel world
But what has it done?to my your world undone?
Nothing except in a world that is full of glum

TOO MUCH LAYED BARE

TO MUCH HAS BEEN LAYED BARE
This soul and heart so naked and bare
The tears the silent tears flooding surging and overflowing river
The colours of my life floating away
Far away, so desolate, despair within
I no longer can hold you, feel you
You’ve gone far away
Your warm embrace you sweet face
Just a memory that is fading into the distance
I close my eyes I still hear your voice
Sweet nothing but they were bliss
Oh how I miss
But what a fool a stupid fool
Why do I reminisce? Oh those kisses!
Maybe too much too soon
This room full of gloom
Too much layed bared to soon

TIME TO LET GO

TIME TO LET THEM GO
GO WITH THE FLOW
LET IT ALL GO
ARMS STRETCHED OUT WIDE
WINGS TO FLY AS HIGH AS THE SKY
BREATHING IN THE CLEAR, CRISP AIR
THE FRESHNESS
THE CLEANLINESS
WASHING AWAY THE WINTER BLUES
THE SHORELINES WAVES
SOFTLY RIPPLING
BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS
CLEANSING
THE MIND THE BODY
AND SOUL

THE TRUSTED SIDE THE REAL SIDE

THE TRUSTED SIDE
THE MADE UP SIDE
There two distinct natures to ourselves
The truth
The made upside
I prefer the truth
The justice
The compassion
The empathy
The reality

This poem came to me in a moment when I was thinking about which side of us is real, and trustworthy to all our friends and family and also the faces and images that we portray on a daily basis to the outside world especially in our work places and environment, are we for real was my original question but I am sure that if we know ourselves completely we know who we are !! Hence the image provokes our deeper thoughts and thinking of who we really are

NEVER PRESUME THE OBVIOUS

Never Presume the obvious when there is beauty all around us

About the Author

Firstly hello to everyone that will be reading this blog.
I haven't been writing very long it has only been just over a year now with especially my poetry, what inspires me can be anything from real life, fantasy, Wolves, Native Americans of which I am of the bloodline and the Nation that I belong it is the Sioux Nation who were and are still the great plains warriors for their land and homes. I have such a spiritual connection with all life and nature too
My friends and family who are the best who have sent images such as the one below which have had me sit for a few minutes with it or them and bam!! a poem has been written within minutes ( I write fast and furious) and will not stop until the poem is perfect.
I live here in UK in a small village called Wool, meaning water, and the area known as the Purbecks is steeped in much history especially where i live where once the great Lawrence of Arabia resided before his untimely death on his motorbike, alongside this I have Thomas Hardy the great writer who lived in Dorchester Dorset and Tess Of The Dubervilles was filmed just five minute walk away, along with this just a twenty minute walk away is Monkey World and if anyone remembers 'Challenge Anneka' where she had to produce a sanctuary for ill treated monkey's Orang Utan, well it is all here in Wool Dorset and I would highly recommend the visit as it is all worth while to see that they are now safe and sound and out of harms way from those that have harmed them across the globe.
I am a mum to 3 strapping sons, all spread across the globe, (globe trotters) but they are happy and I am happy that they have reached their ultimate goal in life to be the best as they can be
My future does hold that this is going to be a author and writer, one that I thought would never happen or believe that any of my works would ever be published, the sun is shining
Okay I am not good at this talking about myself so if you want//need to make any comments or ask any question please do. Oh and I am single wild and free spirited

THE THRILL OF THE KISS

THE THRILL OF THE KISS
The kiss that never can be missed
The thrill
The steaming hot rush
Through the body
The temperature
Steaming
Sweltering
Blistering
Nothing can cool it
Wash it away
Lathering

MANIER A TIME

MANIER A TIME
There has been manier time
That there has been a love lost and won
The cradled rocked from side to side
It’s weathered the storms from years gone by
The knocks, bangs and the chipping away
At the heart and soul of everything
The time has come for some beauty and grace
A balance, stillness, a place to rest
A ballerina poised even at rest

I FEEL THE WORDS

I FEEL THE WORDS
I HEAR THE WORDS WHISPERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS
We have yet to meet
We have never met
But yet I know you
Your spirit flies as high as the sky
Flying like a bird on the wing
Soaring
Higher and higher
You love me so much
Without a touch
I sense the love around me
Happy and free
Warm and glowing
The space in between us
The mountains
The trees
Soon maybe we meet
This day will come sooner
Much sooner
The love I feel inside
I hope that you feel too
This time and space
Can never erase such feelings
It has been too long
Much, much too long
I want to hold you
Feel you
This burning, burning fire
I so desire
This passion
This hunger, this craving
This aching, aching
Longing, longing
Yearning, yearning
Wishing, wishing
To be with you right now
The mountains can be moved
There is nothing stopping us
Yet there is
We need to meet and sort it out
Once and for all
Who needs who?
Who wants to be with whom?
I want to be with you
NOW AND FOREVER

Within Reach and touching the moon

The image and words just flowed and flowed

Oh can’t stand that face
Oh can’t stand the disgrace
Oh how can I hide?
Where there is no behind
Oh heck when is this all going to end?
So I can unbend
Is this the new trend?

CHIPMUNKS THE IMAGE INSPIRE ME SO MUCH TO WRITE IT

CHIPMUNKS
A spring day today
Love is in the air
New growth
And undergrowth emerging
Love is in the air
Right now …..
Spring has sprung
For the lovers too
These two know
That they love each other too
But he is not sure whether to ask or not
To tie the knot
Well this being the year of
A leap year
(Bear with me now
I know that they don’t know that,
But let’s have a good story)
He he
Now Chippy (the male)
Is shy and reserved
But he adores
His Chitty (the female)
He worships the ground
That Chitty walks on
And the trees
That she walks on
And up
And down
He would do anything for her
Nothing a bother
Always a pleasure
Nothing a pain
But he just cannot find the words to say
His words come out all garbled
And not understood
He blushes with shame
And blames himself for his
Silly, stupid ways
‘What am I to do?’
He keeps asking himself
And runs off into the wood
Chitty sees and feels
His pain and concern
And hears all the garbled words
And knows what Chippy wants to
Ask,
Chitty hatches a plan
For the next day
Knowing that Chitty is around all day
The day being
February 29th the only day
That is a leap year
When the ladies are able to propose
The their men
So Chitty is ready
And waiting for Chippy
To arrive
And surprise him the most
He standing before me
Looking all forlorn
And worried
I pluck up the courage
And just say it out loud
‘Chippy please marry me?’
Chippy is looking stunned
And now I am worried what he is going to say
And all of a sudden he stammers
‘I willllllll marrrrrrrrrrry you
Chitty just say when’

THE LIGHT AND THE DARK

THE LIGHT AND THE DARK

There is a light and dark side
To all of us
A light that shines outwards
Externally
So obvious
So clear
So bright
So apparent
So noticeable
Unmistakably
Unique
It is the light that we show to others
Our mothers
Fathers
Brothers
Sisters
And friends
Behind all the light
There is a darkness that cannot be seen
The one that can mean
All is not ok
The feeling of despair
Nobody cares
We hide in the shadows
The gloom
The doom
Here in a darkened room
Feeling the blackness
Reflecting
Dejected
Disheartened
Depressed
Disappointed
With life and things
A disenchanted
Disillusioned world
Seemingly black
Like a fog that won’t budge
Dislodge
Remove it from
Mind, body and spirit
And this soul
There is a part that needs to reconcile
Settle
Reunite
Resolve
Merge
With the light and the dark
A balance is needed
Required
Equilibrium
Poise
Stability
Reconciling
The light and the dark
As one
With oneself
