CARPET RIDE

I dreamt that I was

Taking a magic carpet ride

Way beyond

My dreams have ever been

Or seen

This magic carpet ride

So mysterious

Delirious

With joy and happiness

And the feeling of

Total bliss

I just wish that you were here

On this magic carpet ride

Here by my side

Sharing the sensations

Of this heavenly bliss

Where no one can find us

In this land of

None existence

But it is all but a dream

Which we all believe

That maybe one day

It will be real

So surreal

Until then I will dream on

UPON THIS LAND

UPON THIS LAND

This ancient, ancient land

Where nothing breathed

But the animals

And the trees

We came to this land

Just to

Live amongst

The wild

And the free

Not to tame it

Claim it or reclaim it

This belongs

To our

Mother Earth

Our Creators land

Ploughed the earth

Sowed the seeds

In this earth

Crops that we did reap

Always plenty for others

To sow

And reap

Not for weeping

As I look beyond this

Ancient, ancient land

Visions of the

Darkness

And light

Knowing that this

Ancient, ancient

Land

Is no longer the

New World

As man once called

It

There is no space to breath

Feel

Escape

The madness of the

Great Cities

Freedom to run

As wild as a steed

Letting the wind

Blow free

Through

Mind

Body

And spirit

FIRE BENEATH THE WINGS

This fire that burns

Flames so hot

That scares me not

The flames so hot

A fire

Burning, scorching, sweltering and searing

Around my body

Powerful

Controlling

Formidable

Feeling

Yet it is not burning

By body

The flames are flickering

Dancing, curling, swirling

Elevating and upraising

The flames

Through mind

Body and soul

A peaceful serenity

The stillness, the quietness and the calmness

All around

Wings unfurled

Raised to the heavens

Golden, golden

Transparency

Transparently

Eyes fixed to the sky

Golden stardust, golden stars

As far as can be seen

Arms outstretched

This body transfixed, mesmerized

Spellbound, hypnotized

I cannot resist, desist

Nor will I resist

This powerful energy

This fire

Does no harm

Here I stand in

Complete

Composure

Poised

Sang-froid

Cool

Calm

Collected

And at peace
