BOWS AND ARROWS

BOWS AND ARROWS
A war of words
Love triangle
Where some get hurt in the process
Innocent lives
Hearts broken
Hearts bleeding
For being in the wrong place
At the wrong time
The hurt and the and pain
Shooting through
Bleeding
Flowing from the wound
Suffering injured
But not down completely
A lone wolf
Cradling
The injured person
Keeping them warm
Watching over
Keeping watch
The warmth from its body
Keeping him warm
He sees the shedding blood
There is nothing he can do
Except be by his side until help comes along
He waits and waits
For as long as it takes
Forever if need be
But he is patient enduring
Persistent in his insistent
Nothing and no one will make him budge
His master is wounded
Bleeding
But he remains
His life and soul
His friend indeed
He will stay
Never go away
Even to the bitter end

ALL THAT IS OF MOTHER EARTH AND HER GUARDIANS

ALL THAT IS OF
MOTHER EARTH AND HER GUARDIANS

All that is
That resides on this planet
Called Mother Earth
Be that they maybe
The smallest,
The largest of them all
They and others are the guardians
Protectors
Life of this Mother Earth

All that is
Great that flies high above this earth
 The falcons
Eagles
Hawks
Watching
Waiting
Expectantly
For all things to change
The seasons
That brings new life
Across this Mother Earth

All that is
That lives on this Mother Earth
The land animals
The wolves
Watching
Waiting
Expectantly
With all the new seasons
Bringing new life
Across the lands of Mother Earth

All that is
That grows on this Mother Earth
Trees, plants, crops
Watching
Waiting
Expectantly
For the new season
To bring forth new life
Across the lands of Mother Earth

All that is
That Mother Earth provides
Life and love
With everything
We are her guardians
Protectors of land
Called Mother Earth
