MYSTERIES OF STONEHENGE

MYSTERIES OF STONEHENGE
It has been said the stones
Were built
As the solar
And lunar calendar
Way back then
In time of the
Bronze Age
The beauty
The myths
The legends
The stories
Be told
Way back then
From ancestor
To ancestor
Druids
Pagan
Festivals
Including
Everyone
With the knowledge
And experiences
Of way back then
Princes
Princess
Stories of old
Retold
Time and time
Again
Celebrating
The mid-summer
Solstice
Around the
Magical
Mysterious
Stones

YOU SIT BEFORE ME (inspired from my childhood days)

YOU SIT BEFORE ME
So soft and gentle
Delicate, yet subtle
Why oh why do we adore you?
Is it your saving grace?
Here with us on this heavenly space?
Whatever, no matter
Your beauty will always shine forth
Even in the darkest, greyest of days
Your beauty shines, glows happily
We wonder, ponder
At your vision
We wonder, ponder
What you think of us
Yet leaning into you I know what I am thinking
I cannot let you go
I want, need to see you grow
Grow, grow
You bring such love unconditionally
For each and every one of us
You have taught me to be gentle and so, so delicate
How to love
How to trust
Like I know that I can trust you
With my love and devotion
Protecting you through the winds and rains
Your beauty shining, brightening
Through my deepest darkest days
Through my childhood days
Seeking, searching the beauty of flowers
Even through the showers
You glistened, gleamed, shimmered
Holding you so gently, delicately
In my childhood, adulthood hands
In awe, awestruck
At your amazing, astonishing
Startling, miraculous, marvelous
Heaven sent
Sent for me and you
You’ll always remain a memory
A memory so sweet and simple
Purely and simply
Oh how you make me feel whole
For all eternity

MOTHER EARTH BLEEDING (hard hitting poem with the truth)

MOTHER EARTH BLEEDING

Take one long, long look
She is bleeding
Toxic waste
Poisonous
Lethal
Deadly
Contaminated
Erosive
Erosion
A gradual breaking down of this planet
Called Mother Earth
LOOK AT HER
The mess
The trash
Burning all her natural resources
Pouring
Driving
Torrential
Down pouring
Emptying
The life out of Her!!!
Carbon monoxide
Killing her oxygen
The air that she you and I need to breath
An unseen poison
Invisible
Obscure
Masked
Obscured
By the blackness of the smoke
Rising, rising out into the atmosphere
THE WASTE
THE SPILLAGES
Wrecking the seas
Lakes
Streams
Rivers
THE WASTE
Of lives
Plants
Trees
All living beings
THE WASTE
THE WASTE
THE WASTE
How much longer will it take to break this Mother Earth of ours?
How much longer have we here on our Mother Earth?
How much longer is it going to take to wake the world up?
OPEN YOUR EYES
OPEN YOUR EYES
OPEN YOUR EYES
NOW
NOW
RIGHT NOW
Painting pretty pictures does not work
Won’t work
Trying to disguise her face
Her place
Masking over the cracks
The holes
Mother Earth is now raging
Fighting back
No more obscurity
No masking
Painting pretty pictures

Mystery, mystified, mystique
Eyes adorned with
Make-up so blue
Ribbons and lace
Edged in full view
Shimmering Black
With Gold
Braided
Feathered
Framed
Enhancing
Entrancing
Enticing
Shimmering
Chiffon
So beautiful
Adorning
This vision in blue

NOTHING IS MOVING

NOTHING IS MOVING
Except for the birds in the sky
A yacht sailing by
Ripples of waves on the ocean
The rainbow colourful, spectral
Kaleidoscopic
Spreading is wonders
From East to West
What a sight!
The ocean glowing
Shimmering
Radiant
Gleaming
Golden and orange
Nothing moving just stillness
Motionlessness
Quietness
A little heaven
Here where I stand
Quietly, silently, calmly
Tranquility, serenity
Takes a stand

TEARING ME APART

TEARING ME APART
That we are worlds apart
In this world we are looking for something different
But that is so, so natural, normal
But when two minds meet
There is no such thing as a greet
We’ll know instinctively
That we are totally perfect
Perfection personified
To know that we are so, so right
Yet right now it is tearing me apart
Because you are my special thing
And right now I’m not flying
Oh how this is tearing me apart
Clipped wings
And here I stand waiting in the wings
Know that I’ll never let you go
I have been told that you are watching too
Waiting and watching in the wings
Why? Why?
The winds I’m hoping will send you to me
Blowing the grey, grey scudding clouds away
Despairing, despairing
Patience, patience
That you’ll arrive on the gentlest of breezes
The sun shining gloriously
Time, time
Patience, patience
Oh my love this is tearing me apart
Come my love if your heart has been torn apart
We’ve both been torn apart
But always remember and never forget
There is nothing like love, love
Time, time
Gentleness, gentleness
Tenderness, tenderness
Oh my love I promise you
That I’ll save all my loving for you
Please, please wait for me
Like I’m waiting for you
Time, time
Tomorrow is not today!
Time after time
When time never seems to rhyme
My love is on the line
Whilst I stand waiting on this cliffs edge
Whilst standing on this ledge
My dreams seem like fantasies
Fantasies that seem so unreal
They are hanging so heavy in my heart
Come and free me
Free me from this darkness
That is staring at me with such starkness
This life is not made of bed roses
I’m floating in a sea of strangers
When I should be floating with you
Where strangers will no longer be important
Oh this is tearing me apart
Come, come to my heart
And end this tearing apart
Oh my love
Oh my heart
Oh my soul
End this distance
Soon, soon
And be free, free
