Dancing Alone

DANCING ALONE
The rain can splatter all around
It just does not matter as it cries out loud
It’s washing away the pain
The heartache will never remain
The battery, the bruises will fade in time
Right now I am not bothered if everything rhymes
It is the present, the one day at a time
The gentle movements
The swinging and swaying
Dancing it all away
The rain so cooling, chilling
But not freezing
It is all that I can do
And I am so better off without you!
