Staring at the land

Before him

Places to explore

Trees

And branches

Not ignored

Ears alert

Listening

To every sound

Around

And

About

Before him

Birds singing

And cawing

His brothers

And sisters

Below playing

And messing around

Mum and dad

Just standing back

Watching

And listening too

Just like you
