Slips

The mask that we wear

Showing that we don’t care

Hiding feelings

Sorrows

Pains

Tears

And heartache

With nothing

To gain

Here and there

Dancing the worlds tune

The same old song

Dragging our feet along

Treading the boards

Fear of the wrong move

Tipping our toes

Is this the right move?

Pain and agony

Walking the walk

Elegant

Straight

Does the world know?

How it feels inside

Right now

This second

This minute

This hour

Do you feel like escaping the pipers tune?
