A WINTERS
SKY
Way up high
So grey and dreary
Looking so melancholy
Heavy, laden with sadness
Unhappiness
Loaded, burdened, overloaded
Like an eye wanting to sheds its tears
Lifting the weight
From heaven’s gate
The outpouring
The expressing
The out bursting
The deluge
Is this anger?
Outrage
Annoyance
Or a wrath that has you so raw
Flooding out
Swamping
Overflowing
Deluging
Everything in your path
Swamping the lands
Bogging the lands
Flooding the lands
You must be so angry for all this overloading
Is there a chance
A break
Away from the torrents
And pains
The gains
And let the sun shine out again
A glimmer
A glimpse
Peeping out of the grey sky
Letting the lands soak up the deluge
And start all over again
There is always a need for the rain
Renewal
Regeneration
But some have it more than others
Then why cannot it be equaled and shared
And bless the lands afar with the water so badly
needed
Life and death
Death and life
The cycle of life
And all that is
And will be
