DIAMONDS AND FURS

DIAMONDS & FURS
Maybe a girl’s best friend
Diamonds
They glimmer and shimmer
In the suns light
Bringing a falseness
Or are they a delight?
Are we led to their fallaciousness?
Or are we wrong or are we right?
FURS
Furs
Furs
I’m sure they are right
A daring delight
Dashing black
Fashionable black
But what is that I see?
Not a trace of glee
Are you happy?
Waiting, wondering
Pondering
He’s late!
He’s nowhere near the gate
You stand and wait
Is this a mistake?
How much more can you take?
With the diamonds and furs
A model of beauty
His beautified woman
His possession
Possessed
Obsessed
Crazily, crazily
Infatuated
