IT CAME WHEN IT MATTERED

IT CAME WHEN IT MATTERED
The timing so right
The feeling so right
It is all that matters
That burning sensation
Will take shape in a fashion
Claiming my perception
There is a view
A wide, wise view
It was shattered
Battered
When it all should’ve mattered
You broke this heart
Tore it completely apart
It burnt
It hurt
It totally scolded
Oh behold
Did it not matter?
To shatter a dream
Not by a long shot it seemed
Today I turn my back
No longer looking at that rack
Of poker dots and attacks
This flame will never burn
It will burn for desire
Not in a quagmire
With all its predicaments
Entanglements
And harsh, harsh comments
Your dilemmas
My dilemmas
So different, so perplex
That had you vexed
So burn, burn all that text
