So meek

And mild

Innocent smile

Whilst sitting

A while

Mothers and child

Side by side

Watching

And

Listening

Her mothers

Hands

And

Eyes

The language

Between

Mother and child

A time so precious

Before she grows

Into a mother

With a child

Of her own

A bond so strong

Where mother

And child

Belong
