THE STILLNESS OF AN ANGEL
Quietly sitting upon a branch of a tree
Silently
Quietly
Serenely
Composed
Watching
Waiting
For her role
To be fulfilled
As our
Caretaker
Custodian
Guardian
Protector
Of our
Hearts and souls
Keeping us safe from harm
Dispelling all fears
Our shedding tears
A quiet whisper
That floats in the air
Dispelling despair
With all that our Angel
Will dispel
The nightmares
With a gentle
Delicate
Fluttering
Waving
Of her wings
Banish
Remove
The darkness that holds
Within our dreams
Slipping in a beautiful vision
Of pure beauty
And light
And a restful
Peaceful
Night
Our Angel is always a prayer away
No matter the time of day
Or night
