MISSING YOU

All that there is to remind me of you

Is our best friend

Here right by my side

An ever reminder

Of that which resided

Here in the warmth

By the fireside

He never wants

To leave me

Sensing that all is not okay

Guarding

Protecting

Crying at times

Oh yes he cries

Like a child

All I can do is hug

And cuddle him

And say all will be well in time

And here we both are

Feeling the gloom

And the doom

Since you left our sides

We will never forget you

Your love still remains

Goodbye sweet love

Until we meet again

Someday
