RELEASING
All that has been binding
Liberating
Redeeming
Freeing
Unshackling
These chains
These entrapments
That held me back for too long
Breaking free
Liberty
Freedom
The all important
Independence
No implements
No impediments
Impairments
Time to walk free
Straighten the back
Right up
Stand tall
No hunching
Stooping
Or crawling
Oh that agony
Of it all
The feeling of a great release
Just pleased
Happy, contented
And all that I am feeling
The wait has been worth it
Now the time has come
Life can only get better
It surely has
begun now
