WHITE LIONS (poem updated)

WHITE LIONS
More elusive that the Leopard
Rarer than the legendry Snow Leopard
Your fur whiter than the Polar bear
It is for certain that you are not Albino
Your eyes the colour of blue or gold
You’re roaming home
I am not revealing
Not this time
Or ever
For you are special kinds
Of lions that need all the space
And time to grow
Away from all the prying eyes
And guns
That threatens your existence
In a world full of
Trophy getters
Who seem to think and believe
This would look good
On the floor or magazine
Forgetting
Assuming
That there is more
For all
Who want more
I can get more
All for the sake of a dollar
How much more
Do they have to suffer?
Why can’t you just let them be?
Roaming wild and free
How they are meant to be
