SEA SHELL
You
reside in the vast oceans
Sea bed
Quietly
Silently
Then in
awhile
As I walk
this shore line
I see the
most amazing sight
I have
ever seen
Hidden
amongst the sand
A
treasure
A gem
An empty
shell
Vacant
Hollow
You have
left your shell
Unoccupied
Uninhabited
Deserted
A
beautiful shell
A
treasure amongst treasures
Right
here in the sand
Your colors
The most
amazing I have ever seen
Just like
a rainbow
After a
rainy shower
What
holds my eyes
The empty
space inside
Pearly
Translucent
Iridescent
Glistening
Glowing
In the
days sun
Dare I
take you home with me?
For all
shells that are on the shore line
And in
the sand are free
I have a
home
And a
place that is free
Sitting
you on a window ledge
Where the
sun is free
There you
can sit
Shining
your beauty
For all
to see
