JUDGEMENTAL

JUDGEMENTAL

We have ALL done it!
Judged a person(s) by the colour of their hair, clothes, the way that they live, the way that they conduct themselves publicly, privately
Then who are we/you to judge the way we/they live?
We say to ourselves “I don’t aim to be perfect”
Yet we must not point our fingers unless we make sure our hands are clean
And also if what we see by our own eyes does not please us by our own eyes THEN close your eyes and see what their heart beholds
Judging anyone most definitely defines who we are!
Have we ever thought that what we do is disparaging to that person or persons? When we know NOTHING about them! Is it at all possible that the person or persons that we are judging are hiding their own agenda as a disguise, a disguise to hide what is happening within them?
Here is another, do we all live in glass houses and our windows are not clean?

BE CURIOUS, NOT JUDGEMENTAL Walt Whitman
Matthew 7:1-6  (Judging Others) “Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way as you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others. Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, and pay no attention to the log in your own eye? How dare you say to your brother, Please, let me take that speck out of your eye, when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Do not give what is holy to dogs – they will only turn and attack you. Do not throw your pearls in front of pigs – they will only trample them underfoot”
Luke 6:37-42 (Judging Others) “Do not judge others, and God will not judge you; do not condemn others, and God will not condemn you; forgive others, and God will forgive you. Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands – all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God wills us for you. And Jesus told them the parable; “One blind man cannot lead another one; if he does both will fall into a ditch. No pupil is greater than his teacher; but every pupil, when he has completed his training, will be like his teacher. “Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but pay no attention to the log in your own eye? Please brother let me take that speck out of your eye, yet cannot see the log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
John 3:17 (Jesus and Nicodemus) For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its Saviour.
John 7:24 (Jesus and His Brothers) “Stop judging by external standards and judge by true standards”
John 8:7 -11 (The Woman Caught in Adultery) “As they stood there asking him questions, he straightened himself up and said to them ‘Whichever one of you has committed no sin may throw the first stone at her.’ Then he bent over again and wrote on the ground. When they heard this, they all left one by one, the older ones first. Jesus was left alone, with the woman still standing there. He straightened himself up and said to her ‘Where are they? Is there no one left to condemn you?’ “No on sir” she answered. “Well then” Jesus said “I do not condemn you either. Go, but do not sin again”
James 4:11-12 (Warning against Judging a Christian Brother) Do not criticize one another, my brothers. Whoever criticizes a Christian brother or judges him, criticizes the Law and judges it. If you judge the Law, then you are no longer one who obeys the Law, but one who judges it. God is the only lawgiver and judge. He alone can save and destroy. Who do you think you are, to judge your fellow-man?
Romans 2:1-3 (God’s Judgement) Do you, my friend pass judgement on others? You have no excuse at all, whoever you are. For when you judge others and then do the same things which they do, you condemn yourself. We know that God is right when he judges the people who do such things as these. But you, my friend do those very things for which you pass judgement on others! Do you think that you will escape God’s judgement?
Romans 5:8 (Right with God) But God has shown us how much he loves us – it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us

Romans 14:1-12 (Do Not Judge Your Brother) Welcome the person who is weak in faith, but do not argue with him about his personal opinions. One person’s faith allows him to eat anything, but the person who is weak in the faith only eats vegetables. The person who will eat anything is not to despise the one who doesn’t; while the one who eats only vegetables is not to pass judgement on the one who will eat anything; for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge the servant of someone else? It is his own Master who will decide whether he succeeds or falls. And he will succeed, because the Lord is able to make him succeed
