THE GATEWAY
Our body is made up of many routes
Routes to the mind
The is amazing
The memories
Our inner thoughts
Our inner feelings
It laughs
It cries
It stores our knowledge
Our wisdom
Conquered our fears
Overcome the years
Controlled our emotions
Let the emotions go
The arms
The legs
The main torso
It grasps the movement
Movements from one place to another
It has learnt
To walk
To lift
To shove and push
Twist and turn
But there in our midst
The heart
The centre
The core
What more?
It is waiting to burst
Burst with life
Burst with energy
So why keep it locked up inside?
Pride
Afraid to let go
Oh no
Not I
