DO
WE STAND AND WATCH?
At
this very moment
Here
I stand looking downwards
Not
looking up or sideways
These
emotions
These
feelings
Garbled
Jumbled
Muddled
I
do not know what to think
Or
believe right now!
Part
of me feels guilty
I
can and do not want to face this guilt
All
in the same breath
Same
thought and thoughts
It
makes me feel I cannot face you
Guilty,
guilty feelings
Shame,
shame on me
I
see that look on your face
Thoughtful
Pensive
A
look of contemplation
Are
you feeling and sensing my thoughts?
I
so want, need to change this feeling
A
world gone mad, insanely mad
It
tortures
It
torments
It
never surrenders
There
is no peace, maybe some kind of peace
Is
there in the distance
A
vision
A
glimmer of hope
I
hope
But
can it be real?
Surreal
It
just feels weird
Odd,
dreamlike
But
it carries hope
So
maybe this is not so bizarre
By
far
Maybe
I should face you
Look
at you differently
From
before
Should
never be judgemental
Hypercritical
Critical
It
serves no purpose
Listening
to others
Instead
of my own feelings that resides
Inside
