REFECTION
In the real world we show
What we want others to see
Not the real us
The real you and I
Fake at times
Living a lie
Just to get by
In a world full of hate
Mistrust
Suspicions
Doubts
Distrust
Giving only what we want others to see
And hear
Keeping it covered
Hidden
Concealed
Secreted
Secretive
Unknown
An air of mysteriousness
Is maybe the key
Enigmatic
Cagey
Just like a bird
Wary to fly
High
Is this the world before us?
Living in cages
Being too cautious
Evasive of who we really are
Beautiful
From the outside in
A mirrored image
A reflection
Of the beauty of the hawk
Powerful
Free
And wild
Unattached
Detached
From all the is unreal
