SNOW, SNOW, LET IT FLOW
OH NO!
Taken from the Anthology ‘Heart
Felt Baring All’

Snow, snow you flow so much
oh no!
The wind howling, whistling
around every nook and cranny
Everything is so cold to the
touch
The window pane freezing
cold
The trees bending, bowing,
trying to stand upright precariously
The wind from the East
strong and powerful like a beast
Hungry for power,
sovereignty
The tiny flakes of snow
swirling, curling
Just like a maelstrom
Scrambling frenzied vortex
Sucking all the remains of
winters fallen debris around and around
Oh so cold and frenzied
outside
But here I stand and watch
the frenzy
Snuggled up and warm inside
Warm enough to be in the
minimalistic
Mother Nature intention
Coffee
in hand, warming soothing the ravages of the exterior
Oh
snow, snow!
Baron
and bare
That
much you dare!
But
we do not despair
Spring
is on its way hooray!
The
flowers start to shoot and bloom
Comforting,
warming the room
Just
like a rose budding, and in full bloom
Oh
snow, snow you won’t be here for long
